Mid Week Modness: Mappins Cuff Bracelet Watch

I don’t know much about this watch other than what’s printed on the dial. It says Mappins (a Canadian jewellery store) and antichoc (which means its has a shock absorbing mechanism so the balance staff doesn’t break if you drop the watch). My guess is that if I could figure out how to open the watch up, it would have a 17 jewel, French-made movement. But it keeps perfectly good time, so what’s the point of monkeying around with the watch?

It also reminds me of one of Wonder Woman’s bracelets.
