My Geode Must Be Acknowleged

To quote Martin Prince: “KABOOM! That’s the sound of the thunderous volcanic explosion that gives birth to the magnificent geode.” The rock nerd in me must state that, for the record, geodes can be formed in both igneous and sedimentary rocks. My heart did go kaboom when I found these babies. They are just specimens that have been dipped in some kind of metal with a bale attached. Kinda like the gold-dipped leaves you can get at The Ex. I think I will fashion a super chunky necklace from them.
