Vintage Sealskin Boots
I bought these vintage sealskin boots in K-W a couple of weeks ago. It was warm when I left TO, but Kitchener being in the snowbelt and all, the boots came in handy as I trudged from my parent’s place to the bus terminal. Then I thought, “Well I better put these away for next year.” I started vacuum-packing up my winter coats but got bored before I could prep the boots. Then we had that crazy snowfall last week, so once again it was boots to the rescue. I’m pretty sure that’s it for the season, so I took a picture for posterity before they get packed up for the season.

Hi, my mother gave me her old vintage seal skins boots much like these and I was thinking of selling them. They have got to be at least 50 years old and I have no idea what I should ask for them. Any ideas? Thanks PS I know the sale of seal skin is restricted but these are very old and made well before the ban. I can email a picture of them if you repond.
thanks,
Cindy
Sorry, I can’t help you out on prices for your boots. As far as I know, if you are in a country where seal products are banned, you can still buy and sell, you just can’t import or export or sell on sites like eBay which do not permit the sale of endangered species. Hope this helps.
