Charmed, I’m Sure

I can’t seem to be able to resist mesh jewellery or pieces that buckle up like a belt. If there is piece that combines both elements, then I have to have it, regardless of the cost. Throw in an extra elements — say a charm of the head of Mercury — then I will explode with glee.

Which is what happened when I found this feller at the St. Lawrence Antique Market last Sunday. The head is marked “Kinney,” which was a bigtime charm-making concern at one point. I don’t know if it’s rhodium-plated sterling (it’s kinda heavy) or if the charm is even original to the bracelet.
