1930s Ultra Deco Dress Clip

I picked up this 1930s dress clip for $2 at the St. Lawrence Market last weekend. It’s signed “Ideal Button, Montreal” on the back. The colourful cabochons are a clear, hand shaped plastic that’s painted on the back. I’m pretty sure that it’s prystal, but it only gives off the faintest whiff of formaldehyde. More research is required.

Even in it’s shabby condition, it’s still spectacular!
