Toms Toms Club

It was a dark and stormy day morning when we left for New York City last week. So I wore my rainproof Native boots. Fortunately, the weather cleared up by the afternoon. Unfortunately wearing boots that were not designed for pounding the big city pavement soon lead to sweaty feet and achy arches.

Since the main purpose of our mini-vacay was to hang out with the niece, we did a lot of shopping at places such as Forever 21, H&M, Uniqlo and Urban Outfitters. It was at the latter that I picked up a pair of Toms on sale. Surely you recall that I bought a pair of faux Toms last summer. The real thing is much more comfortable. A toast to my $20 shoes.
