Beauty in the Ruins: Broken Pearls

Digging through bags of broken jewellery from thrift shops is fun. I am able to repair or remodel many things myself, but there are some projects that I put aside for someone with more expertise. And though I have restrung and handknotted beaded necklaces in the past, I want to fix this pearl necklace for my niece’s 16th birthday so I want it to be done right. Fortunately, she is only 13, so I have a few years to either get better at knotting or save up to pay a pro.
