Carmen Beckmann Turquoise and Amethyst Cabochon Ring

The other find of the month: a lovely series of connected stacked rings set with my two favourite stones — turquoise and amethyst — and signed by Carmen Beckmann. Beckmann’s shop started in the 1950s in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, and was still in business until this century. Beckmann purchased her pieces from a variety of silversmiths and then stamped them with her store mark. Still her jewels are highly collectible. Judging by the styling and some other snooping I did around the interwebs, I’d say this ring is from the 1960s.
