Doll Hospital Part Two

So yesterday I posted about fixing the broken necks Barbie and the Rockers dolls. In that post I mentioned Jem and the Holograms, the futuristic fake pop group/Saturday morning cartoon that was the inspiration for the Rockers (some would argue less inspiration and more direct rip off).

In that post, I posed the Rocker dolls with a Jem doll. Today I visited the Value Village on my way home from a friend’s birthday party and checked out the used toy section in search of celebrity dolls (there was an Emma Watson and Posh, Baby, and Sporty Spices but all four are already represented in my weird collection). I skipped those but brought home a Roxy — the bass player from Jen’s rival band The Misfits!

I brought her home because it felt like fate that she would suddenly appear the day after I wrote about these dolls. And since she was naked I dressed her up in some extra Rockers gear because I know that would annoy Jem.
