Five Golden Rings

All the pre-holiday crazy times means that the blogging will be slowing down until the end of the year. The goal is to post at least one picture of something pretty everyday, so keep checking in.

Here are some of my favourite coloured-gemstone rings. They are, from top to bottom: and unmarked cocktail ring with a glass amethyst-coloured stone that I got at an auction; a 19kt Portuguese ruby and turquoise ballerina ring that I got from a jeweller on Dundas who was retiring; an Art Deco 18kt and platinum buff cut citrine and diamond ring that I traded for with my Estonian pawn shop friends; a super chrome-y square cut aquamarine that I had set in a moderne 10kt mount; and a ring that my dad found and gave to me when I was a wee girl. The shank split once and when I had it fixed I was told that the stone was a tourmaline.
