My Spring Look: Bouclé Bob Mackie Jacket and Missoni-ish Made in Italy Skirt
Found two great pieces for my spring wardrobe on Sunday. The first is a lovely bouclé, 3/4 length sleeve jacket by Bob Mackie. Yes, the man who created Carol Burnett’s Curtain Dress lent his name to this absolutely demure jacket. The second is a Missoni-style knit pleated skirt with the label “Made in Italy for Milli’s of Hamilton.” I have drawn a crude picture of myself, my Cate Blanchett hair and my new ensemble. Pictured beside it is the actual fabrics. I wish I knew how style bloggers take pictures of themselves.

Millis! Wow. That place always amazes me, this little slice of designer boutique on a bleak stretch of four-lane-one-way Main St. Yet, they’ve been around since the 60s and continue to flourish.
