Sidewalk Find: No Lion, No Witch, Just Wardrobe
An interesting feature of Downtown Toronto housing — especially in pre-Edwardian buildings — is that there are not a lot of closets. We have exactly one closet in our house. Which is why I almost broke down and cried when I found this wardrobe on the sidewalk. On the sidewalk just a few doors down, even. It’s no beauty, but it’s in good shape, it fit through the doors and it’s pretty big. It even has a built in shoe rack. I’m going to paint it white and wallpaper the insides with the crazy ’70s print I found on the sidewalk in the winter.
Another thing you should know about Toronto, the streets are paved with free!

The streets of Toronto are paved with free what?
Just free. On the weekend I stopped myself from bringing home a pair of roller skates.
