December Birthstone: Turquoise

Welcome to December. If you were born this month, your birthstone is blue topaz, zircon, tanzanite or Turquoise. I only have examples of turquoise to share. Turquoise is one of the first gemstones to be mined and has been treasured as a lucky talisman by ancient Egyptians, Persians, Aztecs and First Nations.

I made this necklace out of several broken strands.
