Midweek Modness: Mysterious Mod Bracelets
Above is a kooky bracelet I found last weekend. It’s unsigned silverplate and it’s a bit of a wounded bird (the enamelling on one of the panels is half gone). But I’m a sucker for wounded birds. I dig its amoeba-shaped panels, its basket-weave textures and, of course, enamelling.
Below is an unmarked biomorphic bangle that I bought at the same place. At $5 a pop, I probably spent too much. Sometimes that’s the way the cookie crumbles.
