Year View Mirror: Earrings

All week long, I’ll be counting down my favourite finds by category. Today it’s earrings.

Number 3… I don’t know why I like these 14k CZ heart eardrops so much. They came in a $20 lot of jewellery that I found on eBay last August. I bought the lot for a pair of simple 10k ball earrings, but somehow ended up wearing these all the time. Go figure.

Number 2… My attraction to these Soviet-era Russian gold drops is a lot easier to fathom. I like the ribbony design and I appreciate them as a memento of a bygone era. I found them at the Value Village for $30.

And Number 1… This Victorian girandole earrings are simply amazing. I paid $5 for them at the Value Village and I keep finding out new things about them everyday. I thought they were brass originally, but now I’m not sure (I’m going to take them in and get tested this week). And Kristen Wiig wore an identical pair to the Emmys.
