June Birthstone: Moonstone

If your birthday is in June, then one of your birthstones (along with Alexandrite and the Pearl) is moonstone. Moonstone is a kind of feldspar with a dreamy opalescent look. It has been used in jewellery since at least Roman times, but it reached the peak of its popularity during the Art Nouveau era.

In gemstone healing , moonstone is said to soothe and stabilize emotion in stressful times providing calmness. It is also supposed to enhance intuition, inspiration and bring good fortune in love and business.
