Brush Your Face

It’s getting colder. The air is getting drier. The skin needs extra exfoliation. So I invested in this lovely face brush so I can give dry brushing a go.

Here’s the theory: Dead skin cells make your skin look dull. Dry brushing with a natural bristle brush removes more dead skin cells than wet exfoliation because water plumps the epidermis, making harder to slough off the old skin. Dry brushing also stimulates circulation to the skin for a healthier-looking complexion. The cons: If you have super sensitive or dry skin, dry brushing may be too harsh on your hide. But if you have an oiler complexion, it’s worth a try. Just remember to use a brush designed for the face, not the body.
