Aquamarine Moulded Glass Pendant

I found this damaged cut glass pendant in a cardboard box full of $1 stuff in Kensington Market (sorry I forget which shop, it’s on Augusta, just across the street from Courage My Love). It has a crack in the glass and it had no bale or chain, so I added those from thrifted findings.Even though it’s a little beat up, the design and the light blue colour of the glass makes it just too pretty not to wear!

It looks very deco, but the construction suggests that it is from the 1980s — probably a piece made by or inspired by 1928 Jewelry, a company inspired by vintage jewellery that’s been around long enough that some of its creations are vintage.
