Green Marbled Bakelite Bangle
I went on my first concentrated thrift shop safari in a long time yesterday afternoon. I ranged from the Salvation Army on Parliament (the Sally Ann is having a 99 Cent Sale on Friday, by the way) all the way out to the Value Village up near Steeles on Victoria Park. I didn’t get a lot, but what I got was good, starting with this chunky marbled Bakelite bangle. It’s very plain — most of the bracelets I’ve seen in this size have been carved, bevelled or rounded. Still I love the swirly green colours. And it only cost $6.
