Midweek Modness: Made In Japan Mini Pitcher
I found this fun little mini-pitcher on the sidewalk. With its orange-and-yellow palette, it reminds me so much of my 1970s childhood. I can just imagine sitting in our harvest gold accented kitchen, pouring maple syrup onto my pancakes from this thing.
It’s a nice example of the trickle down effect of modernist design. You can see nods to the more daring design of the the 1950s in the shape of the vessel and the folksy graphics of the Scandinavians in the tulip pattern.
