Mail Orders

As the last living blogger, I frequently question why I even write these posts. At times Gracious Good has been a venue where I could write about things that interested me but not the publications that publish my work. If I fell down a research hole, I could store that information here. When I spent more time energy selling things on Etsy and at the Junction Flea, I could use this space for self promotion. These days the blog serves more as a writing exercise and a place to catalogue things I bought or found on the sidewalk.

So here are some things I ordered off the Internet, presented without much context. I’m also too lazy to supply links.

First up is a collection of miniature Casio Gacha Machine rings have arrived! These are wee versions of the F-91W-1, the DBC-611-1 calculator watch, the world time-equipped AE-1200WH-1A, the analog MQ-24-7B2, and the analog-digital AQ-230GA-9. They are non-functional but quite convincing looking.

Second are these articulated humanoid earrings from Krysta Furioso aka Onlychild Handicrafts, a jewelry maker from Saltspring Island, BC. I saw them on her Instagram and had to have them. They look great but it’s also fun to wear dangly earrings. I love being able to feel the movement of these fellas dancing from my ears!

PS. The imagery in this post comes from the sellers as my photography is terrible.
