Objets Trouvé Part 2

Just a few recent sidewalk finds. I’m trying not to bring things into the house. It doesn’t matter if they are free or useful or not. But it’s hard to resist hand made ceramics like these mugs. I gave the swan to my friend Lynda. The wonky blue mug has become a catch-all.

This Delft souvenir of Holland mug was also too pretty to pass up. I’m thinking of using it as a planter.

And a neighbour was trashing a bunch of political posters. This permaplaque was from an AFL-CIO strike in Wisconsin in 2011. The blue fist representing the shape of that state was designed by graphic artist Carrie Worthen.

How it ended up on a curb in Toronto I do not know.
