A Trip To The Brocante Part 2

One of my main goals whilst gkobetrotting is to travel light. That means packing so that all clothes get worn and no new clothes are acquired. I generally fail on this objective.
On this trip, visiting a sprawling European flea market was a main thing on my itinerary. So shopping doesn’t always have to equal buying.

Any thrifting trip is a story about the treasures found but also the things I didn’t get. My main mission at the Geneva Planpalais Flea Market was to find cool watches because timepieces are small and don’t take up much space in one’s luggage.

Anyway, here’s a photo dump of some of the cool things that did not come home with me.

So many masks. I used to have a while walk covered in masks in our old house. Alas, we don’t have the wall space for display in the new pad.

French worker jackets were in proliferation. But clothing purchases were not permitted. Not even this classic Burberry trench was not allowed.
