In Between

After returning home from Alaska (and sleeping for a day), I strolled up to the high street to buy groceries. I also stopped by Mrs. Huizenga’s — one of my favourite vintage shops. I bought two beauties: a hand carved ivory pendant of a woman’s head (which worked well with the painted ladies on my Virginia Johnson caftan) and a lariat style watch necklace.

The necklace reminded me of this stunning piece by Piaget that I saw at Watches and Wonders last spring (see above). Even though it doesn’t work I had to have it. I can’t wait until the temperature is a little cooler so I can wear it with a black turtleneck.
