Fine Feathered Hat

If there was one big buzzword at Fashion Week in New York last week it was “Ladylike” (see also “Grown Up“). Skirts are knee length, silhouettes are fuller and fabrics are floaty.

Which brings me to my new vintage cocktail hat. It’s pink and feathery and fun. I wanted to wear it to our friends Inga and Matt’s wedding last weekend, but couldn’t find a dress to match. Fortunately our friend Stan’s girlfriend Allison had a similar hat that matched her blue and white rickrack -striped dress beautifully. So I was happy.
