Do Over: Baltic Amber Necklace
I’ve probably mentioned this before, but the Baltic peoples have worn amber jewelry for its decorative and its natural analgesic properties for centuries. That’s why they make teething necklaces for babies out of amber. The only caveat is that it must by natural amber — not copal or reconstituted — or it won’t work.
I’ve got old arthritic knees, so what I did was take two broken amber necklaces, made one, and called myself crafty in the morning.

Baltic people used it as money too. In Roman times one small amber figurine were as valued as one slave.
Cool. I did not know that.
