Scarf Magic: Knowledge is Power!
I love silk scarves, but have never figured out but one way to wear them. Yesterday at work, my colleague Tracey Ho Lung was wearing her Hermès scarf in a very chic, low-slung manner. And I was all like: “I’m going to steal your look Tracey!” I had doubled my scarf knowledge before noon.
And then after lunch, Andrew send me this link to Kottke.org, which leads to a PDF of 20 ways to wear your Hermès (or any) scarf. I am going to try out the look pictured above with my Grès tomorrow. (In another instance of kismet, I got a rectangular sterling scarf ring in a lot of jewelry last month — I was never quite sure what to do with until now.)

Ha! I downloaded the same document after seeing the girl at Hermes wearing her scarf in precisely that low-slung-city-cowgirl way. I haven’t yet worn a scarf that way, somehow my neck is too short to pull it off, but there were lots of other ideas I need to try.
