Runway Review: Milan Fall 2011 Fashion Week
The fashion press was pretty unanimous — Milan FW 2011 was pretty delicious and Raf Simons’ collection for Jill Sander was the cherry on top of the cake. Like New York, Milan showed lots of colour and elegantly constructed garments. But labels like Bottega Veneta, Marni and Prada featured looks that were forward-thinking without being too edgy. Clothes that make you think… but not too hard.
