Do Over: Ceramic Dogwood Ring

I visited The Salvation Army on Parliament on Monday where I found three bags of broken jewellery. Here’s a picture of some of the highlights of that haul.

As you can see, there’s lots of goodies, some wearable some ready for repurposing. My first project was simple. I glued the pink ceramic dogwood flower to a sterling silver ring that I’ve had lying around for a while.

Funnily enough, the ring had a porcelain flower on it before, but I lost the blossom whilst gardening. Anyway, I think it turned out nicely and it looks great with my yellow enamel bangles.
