Sites We Like: Morning Glory Collects

One of the best resources for researching vintage jewellery is Morning Glory Collects. They have an amazing collection of cool old jewels, but they also offer a wealth of research through their Jewel Chat magazine. Whilst perusing their Victorian pages, I came across a catalogue from 1888 which depicted a pair of paste “brilliants” very similar to the pair I’ve pictured below. So now I have a better idea of the age of my earrings. And I can also marvel at the original price of $1.20 for the rolled gold versions (pictured above).
