Pinky Pedicure and H&M Flower Flip Flops

Long story (continued from last Friday)
• I have a hemogoblin that makes my one foot randomly swell up at inopportune times.
• My foot randomly swelled up, causing my otherwise sensible shoes to cut into my skin.
• I went to the Eaton Centre to buy a pair of (hopefully on sale) flip flops to avoid making the wound worse.
• I found this adorable pair of (on sale) flower flip flops at H&M and I purchased them.
• When I took off my other shoes to put these ones on, I realized that I haven’t had a pedicure since June and that my feet looked terrifying.
• I went to my old mani/pedi place for a quickie $35 combo. Upon arrival, I learned that there had been a change in management. I went in anyway. It was okay.
• This picture is the result of all of the rigamarole. It’s not an epic tale, but it’s one that I’m sure we all recognize.
