Bond Boyd Sterling Choker

Bond Boyd is a Canadian company, established in 1940 in Toronto and still in business today. The first signed pieces of jewellery I ever had (and still own) is a souvenir of Newfoundland pitcher plant demi parure (brooch and earrings) that my grandmother Riche gave my mom and that my mom later gave to me.

I come across Bond Boyd pieces all the time. The company has worked with many different designers, so there is no signature “look,” but their is a consistent quality of workmanship. they also employ mostly sterling silver, although some pieces have a gold wash.

Here’s a snapshot of my most recent Bond Boyd discovery. If I had a swan-like neck, I would wear one of these retro panel chokers all the time.
