Modweek! De Passillé-Sylvestre Pendant

It’s going to be kind of a slow week around here — I’m finishing up a contract, trying to get some goodies into the Gracious, Good Etsy shop in time for the holidays and am just feeling very, very tired after an action-packed fall. So if it’s okay, I’m just going to put up some pictures of some recent mid-century accquisitions. They are modest pieces, but I hope you will find them interesting anyway.

First up: A pendant by Québecois enamellists De Passillé-Sylvestre. It was a $5 find at the Salvation Army. Unfortunately this piece shows more than a little wear but I like it’s abstract design of what looks like a person eating a fish on a sunny beach. The bestest part is the glittering copper enamel in the foreground.
