Midweek Modness: Purple Glass Bracelet

I found this hand-made, hinged hammered silver and purple glass bracelet in a thrift shop in San Francisco. Actually I found half of it… it was missing the back half of the piece. Last weekend, while cleaning up my office, I rediscovered an unattractive sterling silver circle pendant that I had bought for the chain. And I thought to myself: Why don’t I just cut that circle open and use it for the back of that purple bracelet? So I cut it, reshaped it and attached it to the front plaque. I still need to sand down the cut edges.

It also looks good layered with a bunch of other bracelets. I love fixing stuff up. I really do.
