Halloween Countdown: Made in Mexico Cat Brooch

I’m not sure why cats are associated with Halloween. They are so super cute and adorable. Like this made in Mexico enamel and abalone alpaca silver pin. Basically I am using the Halloween theme as an excuse to tell you the story about how I just pinned a very similar brooch to one of my Pinterest boards on Wednesday, and then I found this guy at the Salvation Army on Thursday. That’s kind of spooky coincidence, right? The shaky camera work is giving it a “Blair Witch” quality? No?

But back to really scary things, like bears. Why aren’t bears associated with Halloween instead of kitty familiars?
