Miami Nice

I was in Miami on Monday and Tuesday for a 24 hour adventure (more about the specifics of that later). I like to limit my luggage to a single carry on, but this time out I packed a little too light. I forgot to put on any jewels before I left the house (3 am makes me stupid) and once I arrived in Florida, I quickly sweated through the clothes I was meant to wear out for a dressy dinner.

Luckily the shop at the W Hotel had garments and jewels galore. And they were having a sale. So I bought the sparkly Ella Moss top pictured above, and the cute sterling silver lips necklace pictured below.I love the peachy colour of the top. It will work quite nicely with my various grey pants as well as my camel Pringle of Scotland pencil skirt. The little sparkly bits have a tendency to shed and I found myself having to pick tinsel out of my dessert. I don’t get the name of the necklace designer and had meant to go back in the morming to write it down, but there was a misunderstanding with the itinerary and I didn’t have time.

I liked Miami. People make an effort to look good there.
