Queen West Art Crawl Haul

Went with Jessica and Sophie to the Queen Street Art Crawl in Trinity Bellwoods Park on Sunday. I had to fight the urge to bankrupt myself on art, so I have to settle for pictures of my favourite artists (plus one sweet little purchase).

I love the bowls pictured above by Japneet Kaur (who has an Etsy shop called Story of A Seed). She also had amazing illustrations.

Kaur also had ceramic rings painted with little houses. I could not resist and bought one, though I will probably put it on a cord and wear it as a necklace because I’m afraid it’ll break on my finger.

I wish I could have brought home this bear painting by illustrator Sophia Choi. Choi and Kaur have a similar sensibility — sensitive lines, delicate colours and cool patterns.
