2014 In Review: Mods

Perhaps my greatest sidewalk find of the year was this pair of Folke Påalsson’s J77 chairs. There is an asterisk beside this claim because in retrospect, I may spent too much money having them restored to their original glory. The runner-up would be my recent acquisition of the Jens Quistgaard for Dansk Kobenstyle pot (below).

I was also able to tick off a few other examples of mid-century modern classics from my life list, including this thrifted Kaj Franck for Arabia Finland jam pot (above), a Poole Pottery Delphis saucer decorated by Cynthia Bennett (below), and this wounded Kosta Boda Ram (bottom).
