Wrist Check

Time to catch up on my recent watch-related acquisitions (because I’ve been a busy girl).

First off is Baby’s first field watch. It is from a company called Bertucci and I saw it posted on an Instagram account that I follow called @readysetwatch. This time piece is minty green by day and TOTALLY GLOW-IN-THE-DARK by night. Even the strap glows! I love the case shape, the grey dial and the offset crown but it was the lume that got me impulse buying this watch at 3am.

Speaking of impulse shopping online, Ricardo from @readysetwatch also posted a picture of his Citizen Promaster Mechanical Diver 200m “Fujitsubo” on a rust-coloured nylon pull through strap from a company called ADPT and I totally had to copy this look too. I’m very suggestible.

I also spend a little too much time scrolling through eBay and Facebook Marketplace for watches. I had a cold last week which made it hard to sleep which made it too easy to shop online.

I found this early 1990s TAG Heuer F1 on Facebook and I impulsively bought it. It in much better shape that my yellow late 1980s version. It’s also slightly smaller which better suits my current mood.
