New Spring

I’m trying out the NHS Shake & Soup protocol (look it up) and since I’m boycotting Loblaws this month I went to Walmart to get l meal replacement powder. I couldn’t help but check out the sale rack in the women’s section. I couldn’t help but buy a few spring things. For example, I just sold my red puffy sleeved H&M jacket at a recent yard sale because it was a medium and never fit me. And red is not my colour. Now I have an orange cardi that fits and fits the bill.

The cardigan is B.B. Dakota which used to be a fancy label but I guess it got bought out by Steve Madden which is why they are selling it at Walmart. I also got this summery sage floral print sundress by Mexx, which also used to be a more high end label back in my day. I bought it because it fits me like a dream. The cream bomber jacket is also B.B. Dakota. I’ve paired it with some beloved pieces from my closet. I don’t know what I’ll do when this Uniqlo top and Target pants ever wear out.

Back to the puffiness. I spotted this Zara blouse on Poshmark and snapped it up. It’s the perfect summertime top because it can be layered over my existing jumpsuits and slip dresses or serve as a short sleeved jacket.
