Jewel Box

I admit that I anthropomorphize objects. It’s one of the reasons I like thrifting so much. It’s because I feel like I’m giving things that have been cast aside a new lease on life. The problem is that I rescue too many things that just end up sitting scared and alone in my project box. So last weekend I made an effort to fix a few things that had lying around.
First up was these pique tortoiseshell ear pendants that were awaiting period appropriate wires to hang from. I sourced a set of engraved silver earrings with black branch coral drops and swapped them out.

The next project was widening this leather and copper mcm choker.

Here it is pictured with a diochratic glass and copper cuff that I found at the Goodwill a couple of months ago but never got around to writing about.
