Forgive me but I bought some new duds for Fall from Giant Tiger. It was a total late night, online impulse buy situation. What makes it worse is that I ordered them before I went to Alaska and then I went out and got clothes there knowing that there would probably be a package waiting for me when I returned.

I ordered three things: the lined blanket print jacket pictured up top; a pair of leaf printed wide legged pants pictured just above; and a pair of plastic, lilac clogs pictured below.

I had a very specific look in my mind when I ordered these items. I’ve been influenced by images of people mixing prints. And I like the oversized street style ensembles from Copenhagen fashion week.

I’ll most like take up the hem of the trousers because I prefer my pant legs floody. The 1980s dusty pastel palette is also flattering to my aging complexion.
