Prague Rock

I was in Prague for a few days for work. They keep us on a pretty short leash on business trips but I did manage to sneak off for a couple of hours of shopping. On the first day I arrived about three hours before my colleagues so I nipped off to Flying Tiger Copenhagen where I purchased a Halloween-themed spider web body chain (see above), a sketchbook, a pair of safety pin earrings (the silver drop earrings I wore on the plane broke during the flight — I should reattach the pendants to the other pair of safety pin earrings I have lying around here somewhere) and some batteries for my emotional support fan.

For the next couple of days my money was spent on pain killers and snacks. Like most old cities in Europe, Prague is not set up for folks with mobility issues so not only didn’t I have time for shopping, I was too achey from walking on cobblestone sidewalks and climbing narrow stair cases to take in extracurriculars.

I did have some free time in the morning before flying back home to Toronto so I went for a two-hour stroll of the neighborhood around our hotel. My mission was to find a post office box but I also wanted to hit up the local Primark where I bought this leopard-print tie-front top.

I also picked up this Keith Haring x Mickey Mouse Tote. Not sure why. I have too many bags as it is. Maybe it’s time to revisit my idea of turning watch-related swag bags into throw pillows. It could be my Christmas craft show thing this year. Anyway, here’s me in my new top, about to board a plane.
