Shop Canadian

I like watches. I like shopping. At the same time I’m trying to buy only from Canadian businesses. So when I spotted this “trolley” reusable tote bag on Instagram, I was happy to support!

The name of the brand is Grocery Bags and its Canadian-Filipino founder Xylk Lorena makes totes from recycled woven polypropylene decorated with images of luxurious looking goods. In a nutshell, they are fun. Even the box it came in carries the slogan “Groceries Cost As Much As This Watch” which is also a political statement of sorts.
