Red Rover Come Over

I’ve been needing a little shot of colour to cheer up these grey, wintery days. I’ve also been feeling a little nostalgic for late ’80s/early ’90s style things like matte red M.A.C. Viva Glam lipstick and angular silhouettes. And I still rue the day that I didn’t buy the ruffly bolero from last year’s H&M Garden Collection (pictured above). So today I dressed up my camel-coloured Pringle of Scotland and my neutral, new vintage Burberry’s cape (more about that later) with a tomato red ’80s blouse. I think I looked dandy.
