Deco Day!
Getting caught up on photographing some jewel finds. Here’s a bunch of art deco pieces that I thought I’d share. Nothing too fancy, just fun. Pictured above, a celluloid and rhinestone brooch that I got in a recent eBay auction.
A rhodium-plated rhinestone brooch (another eBay purchase). It’s stamped on the back, but all I can make out is the word “METAL.”
A very pretty handmade, wire wrapped bakelite bracelet (also from eBay).
Finally, a purple glass, graduated bead necklace that I got in a bag of broken jewellery from the Value Village. It was an easy fix.

Sometimes I think of selling these deco necklaces, but it’s so hard to find them these days. I’m always afraid that I’ll have sellers remorse. At the same time, I need to cull the herd soon. There are necklaces, watches and bangles all over the place.
