Georgian Jewels

I’ve been practising my photography skills. Looking back at past posts, I realize that some jewels didn’t get a good close up when I first wrote about them. So here are their do-overs.

Above: This early 19th century brooch is probably the oldest piece of jewellery that I own. It’s a little watercolour dove, painted on a thin slice of ivory and set in a silver frame. Below: Another 19th century piece. This time a pink topaz foliate brooch.
