All New Review: M Nails

I have mixed feelings about pedicures. Part of me feels like the foot needs all of those protective callouses in order to walk around in summery sandals. The other part of me feels like nobody wants to see my bare feet all covered in callouses.

Based on the recommendation of a colleague, I decided to try out a new polish place a couple of Mondays ago. It’s called M Nails and it’s on the Danforth. I’d definitely go back because it’s ultra clean (you get your own little box so none of the equipment used will never touch another foot), very friendly and they give you the most delicious cup of tea. The work was meticulous and they asked if you wanted your calloused pumiced or razored (which I appreciate — I hate the razor). Because they are meticulous, they don’t rush things, so make sure yo allow yourself plenty of time for your pedicure. If I had one wee criticism, it would be that there’s not the most exhaustive selection of polish colours, so bring your own if you have very set ideas about what shade you want your little piggies to be.

Price-wise it’s competitive: about $25 with tip.
