1874 RBM Atrice Locket
I’ve had this locket for a couple of weeks, but for some reason it is one of those impossible-to-photograph pieces. For example, the stone is a brilliant blue in person. It is sweet and simple and signed ABM Atrice on the inside.
I have the back of the RBM 1874 Atrice Locket. With what appears to be the same-chain, however: I don’t have the front of the Locket. I’d like to get it replaced; but I need to know : 1, is it real Gold ?? If so what karat?? And I absolutely love the star with what appears to be a sapphire. Is it and where is the best place to have restoration work done? Would appreciate any advice as this was my Grandma Hudson Locket. Don’t know what happened to the front of it. Thank you, Sincerely Theresa Bocock
Good luck with your restoration, but unfortunately I can’t help you with you questions. Only a jeweler can identify the metal and karat content. And they would have to physically have the piece to do that. And since I don’t know your location, I can’t recommend a restorer. You would be best served by googling local antique jewelry experts. Good luck!
I have the same complete locket minus the chain. Have you had any luck obtaining information regarding your locket
The only information I have is here
