Wacky Vintage Packages
I bought a box of old watch bits at an auction over a year ago. My summer mission is to declutter, so I’ve been going through the box, sorting out what’s repairable, what can be used for crafts, etc. And I found these old, odd bits of packaging. First up, a tiny box of lighter flints, pictured above. And below is a tin that held watch oil.
And finally, a vial of watch lume. According to the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission, Low-Level Radioactive Waste Management Office, radium luminous paint is considered “historic waste.” So yeah, this is on it’s way to LLRWMO.
